My aunty Norma Jones died on 31st October 2001, she was 60 years old, she worked in Reyrolls Hebburn for many years, she lived on the Scotch Estate Jarrow, with her husband Harry Jones, she had 3 sisters and 1 brother which were, Joan Linda Isabel and John, she had no children. She died of asbestosis. She was a lovely well respected lady, worked all her life and did not deserve to go through what she went through poor soul, all her family loved her dearly especially her nieces and nephews, im her niece Linda, and i loved my aunty Norma to bits she was very funny the stories she use to tell us were hilarious, i remember one story in particular about a swimming costume she had as a child, she jumped in the pool and didnt realise the swimming costume was made of wool, so when she got out of the pool it was round her knees, i was crying with laughing when she was telling me, but its very sad the way her life ended, i will always love her and miss her very much.I WOULD LIKE THIS OPPORTUNITY, TO THANK YOU ALL FROM THE BOTTOM OF MY HEART, FOR THE KIND WORDS AND LOVING THOUGHTS FROM ALL MY GTS FRIENDS,THANK YOU ALL SOO MUCH,ALL MY LUV LINDA XXXXXXXXXX Sorry for lack of candles, I cannot get my head round this new site.
